Jennifer Burke is a communications coach and media trainer with Pivotal Media in Toronto. She works with executives, founders and spokespeople at some of the world's most recognized companies in tech, finance, media and entertainment, helping them prepare for the moments that define how they and their organizations are perceived.
That means collaborating with C-suite leaders before they take the stage at major industry conferences, preparing spokespeople to field tough questions live on Bloomberg and CNBC, coaching founders on how to pitch investors and tell their company's story, and helping executives navigate congressional hearings and other high-stakes public appearances. She works just as closely with early-stage startups as she does with Fortune 500 companies. Her goal is to show people how to take complicated ideas and make them clear, concise and memorable.
Before Pivotal Media, Jennifer spent thirty years as a Gemini Award-winning broadcast journalist in radio and television. She anchored CTV News Channel, hosted her own talk-radio show, fronted a television lifestyle program, moderated political debates and guided audiences through major breaking news, from 9/11 to the war in Ukraine. Over her career she interviewed thousands of people across business, politics, tech and culture, from founders to Fortune 500 CEOs, astronauts to athletes, politicians to pop stars.
